OUR BUILDING, OUR GOD STORYI loved listening to Brent tell our building story last weekend. I loved reliving the whole sequence. I think it’s an important story to remember. It answers the “why” question. Let me explain. I remember the excitement in our church years ago when the Grace of Edina building became available. I remember how amazing it was when roughly $1,000,000 was raised practically overnight. And I remember the disappointment when the whole thing fell through. People left. Lots of people. I remember feeling confused. >>
KIDS AGAINST HUNGER AT THE URBANWe are excited about what is happening with our Kids Against Hunger (KAH) feeding program at the Urban Refuge. KAH is a food packing operation where volunteers come and pack nutritious meals to send to countries where malnutrition and starvation are rampant. Even though we are still very much at the beginning of the effort, we have seen God do some amazing things. >>
