While the church certainly appreciates a person’s desire to donate gifts to a specific ministry within the church, we ask that gifts be made instead to the general fund. Church policy does not allow the acceptance of designated gifts to a specific ministry. The only exception to this would be church Board of Trustee action that specifically called for the approval of a designated gift.
The gift should be made by you directly to the family or individual.
You can have confidence in the church’s financial management. View our Church Finances page for more information on our management.
All givers receive an annual contribution statement regardless of membership status, assuming we have all of their correct address information. This also assumes that donations were not made anonymously using cash.

Electronic funds transfer (EFT) provides a way to strengthen your faithfulness. You can prioritize giving in your budget. It is easy to let our good intentions be compromised by the press of personal and household expenses. It is convenient. Have you ever forgotten your gift, left it at home or pledged to double it in the future? Have you had times where you have fallen behind because of travel, vacations and other schedule interruptions? You also help the church. Through EFT giving, you expedite your gift, simplify our accounting, and strengthen our base of regular support.
We chose to have EFT rather than credit card transactions for two primary reasons: With EFT your entire gift goes to the church. When using a credit card, as much as 3 to 5 percent of your gift must go to the credit card company. Although many people pay off their credit card debt each month, many do not. We do not want to potentially put someone in the position of going into debt and paying credit card interest on gifts given to the church.
Anyone who is looking for a simpler way to assure their giving. Anyone who would like to give to the ministry of the church either one time or on a recurring basis. back to top Q. When are gifts processed? All gifts are processed either on the 5th or the 20th of the month.
No problem, just resubmit the Electronic Funds Transfer giving form at least one week before the effective date of change. There is a question on the form which asks you if this request is a CHANGE or an ADDITION to your existing recurring giving already on file. If you have any questions, you may contact Jim Bird at 952-895-0887 ext. 111.
Yes, they will be included.
Yes. An electronic contribution is safe and cannot be lost, stolen or destroyed. All EFT transactions are governed by strict national rules and guidelines. Over four billion EFT transactions are processed annually in the United States. See our answers below about security, where we describe the features of 128-bit encryption.
Yes, this site uses 128-bit encryption.
Encryption is a process that scrambles information into a format that unauthorized parties can not decode or utilize; 128-bit encryption is the strongest, most secure form of encryption generally utilized in Internet browsers in North America.
The primary difference between the two types of VeriSign Server IDs is the strength of the SSL session that each enable. SSL comes in two strengths, 40-bit and 128-bit, which refer to the length of the "session key" generated by every encrypted transaction. The longer the key, the more difficult it is to break the encryption code. 128-bit SSL encryption is the world's strongest: according to RSA Labs, it would take a trillion-trillion years to crack using today's technology. 128-bit encryption provides a significantly greater amount of cryptographic protection than 40-bit encryption. The number of bits refers to the size of the key used to encrypt the message. Roughly speaking, 128-bit encryption is 309,485,009,821,345,068,724,781,056 times stronger than 40-bit encryption. The larger the key, the more secure your personal information.
